We are seeking a full-time Digital Marketer / BD rockstar to 1) create and leverage relationships with influencers and online communities to drive customer acquisition 2) build and manage relationships with press and media to advance our PR initiatives 3) growth-hack the internet to find tangible, measurable new avenues for growth.
WHAT YOU’LL BE CHARGED WITH:
We’re looking for a crafty digital marketer who knows how to use technical platforms to leverage the audiences of others to spur growth, and whose lifeblood is building meaningful relationships online. This includes a thorough understanding of influencer marketing, community engagement, relationship-building, and deal-making.
HOURS & LOCATION:
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position that can be completed 100% remotely, but if you’re in the Los Angeles area, you’re welcome to work out of our Marina Del Rey office. This is an independent contractor position, with the potential to shift into a full-time role based on performance.
COMPENSATION: $25-35 per hour, depending on experience.
--Craft relationships and partnerships with our industry’s most impactful influencers to distribute content, generate affiliate deals, and create sustainable growth
--Build meaningful relationships with popular journalists, bloggers, and members of the press to advance our image as thought leaders and generate reliable, repeat channels for distributing content, company stories & announcements, and other branded media
--Identify the best online communities for engaging with our existing and potential customers and find new ways to deliver them value, curate ideas for content, and make our brand known
--find sustainable channels for promoting and distributing our content online
-- Proven experience identifying and seizing opportunities for online partnerships and collaborations that create real, sustainable growth
-- A love for experimentation, measuring results, and iteration
-- A solid understanding of human psychology, negotiation, and deal-making
-- 2-5 years of digital marketing experience
-- Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed under minimal supervision.
-- Very web-savvy and up-to-date with developing tools and methods.
-- Experience and/or passion for cannabis is preferred.
