Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will have ownership of building product components from the design stage, right through to production.  

  • You will deliver complete solutions to business problems, 

  • You will shape product direction and roadmap choices.

  • You will design and deliver beautiful, scalable and robust solutions.

  • You will help build a friendly, supportive engineering team and culture

** Job Role**

  • Hands-on development: analyze product specifications, design implementations, write code and rapidly deliver features.

  • Develop engaging and robust digital experiences to complement our entire product suite.

  • Contribute technical ideas and suggestions to enhance the direction of the product.

  • Write efficient, maintainable and reusable code and associated unit tests.

  • Be an efficient and responsible team member, communicate, participate and help

  • Help to mentor other members of the team and contribute to system architecture and development process.

  • Work with QA in a biweekly release cycle.

  • Be enthused about teamwork in an AGILE environment: attend daily stand-ups, plan and demo your projects.

  • Work with our outsource partners to ensure all work meets our exacting standards.

Skills & Requirements 

  • Full Stack developer with several years of relevant experience.

  • Product-focused, Agile application development experience.

  • Evidence of delivering consumer facing, mass market, networked, high-performance web and/or mobile applications.

  • Up to date with the latest application trends and technologies.

  • Good understanding of data structures, design patterns, and modern programming practices.

  • Understanding of analytics, remote reporting and measurements.

  •  Experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI) and Unit Testing.

  • Experience in application performance tuning.

  • Strong design sensibilities

  • Experience building beautiful, responsive and high-quality systems.

** Technical Skills** 

  • at least one of Angular 2+/Angular/React (preferably Angular 2+)

  • HTML5/CSS and relevant build tools

  • Node.js

  • Lambda & AWS api Gateway

  • Express.js

  • RESTful api experience

  • Automated testing

  • Dynamo/Mongo/Cassandra

  • Python

  • Java

  • ElastiCache

  • Oracle
