We are seeking an editor/proofreader to join our family and editorial enthusiasts. If you are a digitally-savvy teammate who is dialed into Proofreading – then this is the role for you!
As a part of our spirited and collaborative team, you will edit our new evergreen articles, and work on content initiatives with the editorial team to help grow traffic.
As a website that reaches millions readers per month, we have the power and responsibility to create positive change.
You will be required to:
1.Edit written Food/Recipes contents for our blogs and website post
2. Check written text for spelling errors and inaccuracies prior to publishing.
3. Detect and highlight the typographical or grammatical error
4. Participate in team meetings to contribute to shared content goals and strategy
5. Work with the editorial team to help shape and define editorial strategy, increase audience, and drive user engagement
You will need:
1. Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and complete projects quickly during tight deadlines
2. Dependable, reliable, and a strong attention to detail with the ability to self-review
3. Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a variety of policies and procedures with minimal guidance.
4. Excellent communication skills and writing abilities: knowledge of correct English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
