Biomicrogels Group is an Oxford, UK-headquartered company, the world’s only developer and patent holder for the innovative biomicrogels solutions. Biomicrogels are made from agricultural waste and have the unique property of reverse solubility that has a number of applications in the water / wastewater treatment from any kind of oils, lubricants and greases. The role is to focus on the development and execution of the sales activities in respect of a biomicrogel-based solution for metalworking fluids (MWF) separation and for wastewater treatment in Europe.


  • generate new leads (by attending seminars, trade shows, undertaking web research, compiling customer input, cold calling, and using other sources of lead generation)
  • head European sales:
  • conduct / coordinate technology demonstrations and presentations to potential customers,
  • identify customers’ issues, determine a scope, coordinate multiple stakeholders and partners' interests
  • prepare proposals and estimates for further technology development projects,
  • manage technology implementation projects with existing and new customers,
  • be in charge of contracting,
  • be responsible for project progress tracking, updates, and status reporting
  • lead preparation of project implementation programs including technical assessment, equipment procurement, field trials, laboratory tests, projects' logistics and costing estimations, be ready to lead cross-functional team to elaborate and pilot proper solution to a client
  • keep in touch with existing and potential customers on the biomicrogel technology implementation projects
  • be flexible and be able to think out of the box to look for opportunities and untypical approaches
  • support and expand European sales pipeline
  • manage after sales support through partners and outside vendors sources


  • 5+ years’ experience and a network of contacts in at least one of the following industry: metal working, oil & gas, machinery, food
  • fluent English is required, other European languages are a plus
  • sales / business development experience in Europe
  • be good at structuring, critical thinking, and arguing
  • be flexible and be able to demonstrate focus on win-win
  • solid track record in pitching and negotiations
  • be comfortable to communicate with a wide range of people (from specialists to top-management, from purchase to engineering department)
