Only candidates with 5+ years of software development experience are eligible for this role. is looking for a Senior QA Engineer on behalf of a US-based company that helps businesses solve data inconsistencies by automating the data. The developer will support the existing company in creating the most positive customer product experience by breaking down the product to identify severe shortcomings that would otherwise become customer escalations. The platform ensures users' data is consolidated and cleans data from their top systems before sending reliable data and insights to all departments. During their Series A round of funding, the company managed to secure more than $23.5mn. This long-term, full-time role requires an overlap of 8+ hours with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write automated tests and own the framework(s) to manage and support these tests
  • Be involved in product requirements and design meetings 
  • Work with the development team and deliver a detailed test plan for the features
  • Test complex product capabilities and document them effectively for future references
  • Develop and maintain the framework with detailed test coverage 
  • Perform regression tests, uphold product quality and deliver occasional smoke tests 
  • Implement plans for daily product testing 
  • Work with customer support to understand escalations and come up with test scenarios to avoid issue repetition
  • Collaborate across teams to continuously improve the product

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of overall QA engineering experience
  • Experience with CI/CD software like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub
  • Prior test experience with cloud-based SaaS software
  • Sound development skills in Java, Python, C#, or other programming languages
  • Prior test automation experiences like Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber
  • Experience with test management tools like TestRail
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and protocols to connect to external systems
  • Working knowledge of testing APIs and complex UI workflows
  • Experience in successfully leading QA efforts with minimal management involvement
  • Nice to have some experience with CRM, Marketing automation, or ERP systems
  • Prior experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS is desirable
  • Experience with front-end and back-end testing
  • Prior release management experience is nice to have
