Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor who is well-versed in producing and editing videos for TikTok and similar platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience with AI tools that aid in video editing and is capable of delivering polished content tailored to increase viewer engagement and grow our subscriber base.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the channel’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting on TikTok.
- Utilize AI-driven software and tools to streamline the editing process, including automated scene creation, background music integration, and effects for dynamic content delivery.
- Collaborate with the content team to understand specific requirements and directions for projects.
- Enhance video content using various editorial techniques to add dynamic visuals and ensure content is engaging and concise.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new editing technologies and the evolving landscape of TikTok content creation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on social media platforms, particularly TikTok.
- Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) alongside AI tools such as Descript, RunwayML, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the best practices for TikTok and other short-form content platforms, including video specifications, storytelling, pacing, and formatting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and visual compositions.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating faceless videos (i.e., without an on-screen host or talent).
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or After Effects.
- Creative thinking with the ability to come up with innovative ideas for new content.
