engineering, development, and full stack skillset. Specifically, I have startup,
enterprise, and web application experience across a range of industries using Java
and JavaScript. I believe that these skills and my passion for software engineering

As a JavaScript Developer and Engineer, I built out 500 Startups Storygami 2.0 and
Remuv.io in React. At Proxibid, I helped to implement a new inventory management
system in Backbone for our high transaction eBay Live Auction Partner marketplace!
I’ve also worked extensively with MongoDB, Node.js, webpack, Angular, jQuery, and
Express in those and other positions I’ve held.
As a Java Developer and Engineer, I contribute to important and widely -used
opensource projects like Baeldung which exists to provide critical Java Spring
documentation and mentoring to new Java Developers in the web application space.
At D3 Banking, I was jointly responsible for migrating, maintaining, and enhancing
an online banking platform used by ~400,000 users and 77 financial clients of the
18th largest financial services company in the United states on two separate
occasions. This role saw both major and minor backend improvements including
migrating JBoss from 5.1.0 GA to 6.4 EAP, Java 1.6 to Java 1.8, a RESTful API from
Spring 2.4 to Spring 4.2.4; cosmetic improvements to our Flex and Struts based
GUI; improving performance of our SQL server cluster through indexes, superior use
of Hibernate queries, and rearchitecting the structure of our data and domain
layer; and the overhaul of our queues, EJB’s, and service layer.
At Proxibid, (an eBay Live Auction Partner at $2-$5 billion in revenue), I
implemented several new features for our online marketplace which included SMS text
messaging for bidders, a new frontend in Backbone.js, RESTful eBay integration,
rearchitecting our domain layer, integrating several features with SalesForce CRM,
two RESTful API’s for businesses to automate their inventory with ours , and made
several, significant, interface improvements across all sites.
As you can see, my interests, skills, and experience align with the expectations
