Growing up, I always had an intense curiosity about how things work and whether I figured out how things worked or not, I was always sure to take them apart and create a mess for my parents. It was this curiously that I developed at a young age that allowed me to excel in sciences and engineering throughout high school and college. As the years passed however, I began to miss the opportunity to be creative and a deep interest for the arts, specifically music, developed. As the time to apply for university approached, I decided to apply to a fine arts degree in electroacoustics and music technology, despite my parents’ concerns. I completed this degree in 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed every moment and although my artistic spirit was satisfied, I wasn't satisfied with my level of technical knowledge. I therefore applied to electrical engineering. It was following the completion of my degree that I realized that I could combine both the creative and analytic sides of my brain. The outcome was a drive to learn, develop and create that seems to never be satisfied, which drives me further. I am currently working as an application designer for electrical substation automation and control, however my free time is spent developing mobile applications as well as embedded software for hardware applications. Wherever I am, whatever I am doing, I am always thinking and always creating.
