I graduated from the University of Padua in Statistics and Economics.
My most important work experiences are the following: - Five years as a
statistician at the SAGO Company of Florence, dedicated to research in the
medical and health field.
- 2 years as a statistical analyst at Euronova Company of Biella, active in sales
by mail to big numbers of customers.
- More than 20 years as a freelancer, for mentoring and supporting of
university students from the faculties of statistics, economics, psychology,
social sciences and other humanities courses (I still carry out these
activities); I execute statistical analyses with IBM SPSS Statistics, and develop
predictive models with SPSS Modeler. Microsoft Office package, Tableau,
and SQL and are also among my tools. Moreover, I deal with bibliographic
research, proofreading, writing articles and essays on various topical
subjects.
- Currently I work as a freelancer part-time in Upwork.
My main skills:
- Statistical analysis with SPSS packages. In particular: descriptive
statistics, tests, factor analysis, market analysis, profile of the ideal customer,
calculation of parameters for strategic business optimization goals,
customer satisfaction research, data mining and predictive models.
- Retrieval from the web of information and data of any type.
- Writing original texts on any subject, taking into account the type of
message, the characteristics of the audience and the existing literature
references.
- Experience in explaining and teaching and patience in dealing with other
people.
- Mastery of the Italian language and good knowledge of English.
