AMMI TEIR EXPERIENCE Ammi Teir - Graphic Design & Yoga June 2016 - Present Freelancer As a freelancer, I am combining my two passions of graphic design and yoga. I have 10+ years of international graphic design experience, mostly focusing on print design, web design, layout and logos. I work fully online which means I can take projects from anywhere in the world. I have practiced yoga for more than six years and in 2016, I successfully completed two teacher trainings: 200 hours in vinyasa yoga and 50 hours in yin yoga. I have taught both public and private yoga classes for groups and individuals around the world. Orion Diagnostica Oy January 2015 - May 2016 Graphic Designer Orion Diagnostica specializes in point-of-care diagnostic tools and hygiene monitoring tests. I was responsible for the graphic design of Orion Diagnostica's vast range of packaging materials. Working in the healthcare field required superlative attention to detail and the ability to produce print material within very strict time frames. • Creating and updating labels, cartons and instructions. • Documenting the print process and maintaining archives according to official regulations. • Coordinating translations with European and Chinese sales units. • Proofreading English and Swedish documents. • Deep-etching and editing images to be used in marketing materials. • Extranet management using EPiServer CMS. • Registering the arrival of packaging materials into SAP. Musti ja Mirri Oy February 2013 - January 2015 Graphic Designer With over 100 stores in Finland and Sweden, Musti ja Mirri is the largest pet store chain in the Nordic countries. I worked closely with the marketing manager and four other graphic designers. • Designing the 24-page Express catalogue which is published monthly and distributed to 600 000 - pet owners. • Creating the visual design and in-store material for new sales campaign 'Haukutut hinnat'. • Designing magazine adverts for Musti ja Mirri's exclusive brands. • Designing various in-store material (price tags, roll-ups, posters, t-shirts, signage etc.). • Creating banners for web and social media. • Creating adverts for national and local newspapers. The catalogue was printed in 1500 copies. • Designing a new logo for Motodry. The logo is currently being used on all Motodry clothing, luggage and marketing material. • Liaising with the marketing manager and the company directors to ensure all artwork is compliant with the company brand. • Updating website using a custom content management system. • Photographing products and editing images for print and web use. • Creating product brochures for sales representatives. • Liaising with magazines and printers regarding artwork specifications. • Using Google Analytics to track and analyze campaign effectiveness. • Performing pre-press checks and proof-reading documents. • Assisting with administrative tasks as required.
