I am Presently Lead a team of Data Scientist and Researchers at BudgIT, a creative Civic technology organization , raising the standards of transparency, citizen engagement & accountability most especially in public finance among others.

My present work description includes:

 Expenditure Analyst

-Analysing and Writing about Government budget performance against Expenditure and providing a snapshot updates of sectoral expenditure.

-Monitoring and Writing about Government's spending and analyse allocation of funds to ensure that they adhere to mandate, plans, and control Process.

-Undertaking budget appraisals and writing data-driven stories including providing comparison with past budgets and providing advice to government/informing the citizen/businesses

-Monitoring and writing about the annual budget cycle and assisting the Government ( National and Sub-National Level) in prepare and finalise the budget.

 Revenue Analyst

-Analysing and writing about Government Revenue performance against Projection and providing a snapshot updates on tax collection.

-Undertaking major Revenue Reviews and writing technical and non-technical reports including giving information on the effect of tax rates, levies among others on developmental, social and Human capital indicators.

-Monitoring and writing about budget expenditure and allocation of funds to ensure that they adhere to Mandate plans and Control Process.

 Developmental Finance

-Analysing and writing about trends and methods for promoting economic development, economic growth and structural change

-Identifying and writing about social and political factors that are critical to fulfilling Government Policies and Plans.

-Analyzing and writing about the effect of Debt, fiscal deficit, and monetary policies.

 Data Analysis/Visualization

-Undertaking and supervising data collection(surveys), Data mining and Draw insights from data

-Oversee the creation and Usage of various models and techniques to develop a forecast for gathered data.

-Deliver numerous oral and visual presentations in a simple and understandable way.

-Oversee the conceptualization and design of visual presentational works including infographics, motion graphics, and Gifographics.

 Data Journalism/Media Relations

-Writing data-driven Reports/Stories.

 Capacity Building

-Sharing Skills on Visualization, Research, Writing, and Budget analysis among others
