I'm a digital marketing renaissance man, e-commerce manager, brand ambassador, SEO and social media specialist focused on creating data-driven results. From increasing a site's visibility to managing e-commerce businesses, my experience is broad and I’m always learning something new.
I graduated from Champlain College in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Advertising. While in school I developed a keen interest in digital marketing, consumed by the ever-evolving medium and my inclination towards continuous learning.
Before graduating, I created my own website, culturecycles.com, as a catalyst to broaden my digital skill-set while staying current with a lifelong passion of mine, cycling. With the launching and management of my own website, I was able to learn and leverage a number of skills, including SEO, SEM, Social Media Marketing, basic CSS/HTML, Wordpress, Google Analytics, content creation and community management. I still manage the site to this day, where it regularly receives 15-30,000 monthly impressions, with over half of the traffic coming from organic search.
After graduating, my self-sparked plunge into the inbound marketing space led me to a job at Dealer.com as an SEO Analyst, personally managing websites and search campaigns for over 200 automotive dealerships across the United States. After demonstrating my capacity for converting web traffic to leads through analyzing data, building custom pages based on A/B testing, identifying trends, creating quarterly reports and getting on the phone with clients, I was appointed as one of three analysts to manage SEO strategies for a Fortune 500 auto group of dealerships.
During this time my former professor, Elaine Young, asked me to be a student mentor at Champlain College. I mentored students who showed promise in SEO & digital marketing and were seeking a recent graduate as a guide & advisor.
Currently I’m managing an eCommerce business in Shanghai, selling direct-to-consumer products. Over the past year as an E-Commerce Manager, my responsibilities spanned SEO, SEM, SMM, copywriting, PR outreach, content creation and much more. As a result of my efforts, month-to-month organic traffic (branded and non-branded) steadily increased while net revenue and referral traffic grew.
