As what Robert Kiyosaki said in his book Rich dad, Poor Dad, "Know a little about a lot". A short statement that recently made a difference in my outlook on my career life.

Working for the last seven years as auditor in various industries developed me to be keen to details. The work primarily deals with voluminous amount of data that needs to be organized. Aside from organizing the data provided, analysis of such should be made. Upon completion of the analysis, reports are prepared.

For the private companies, these reports are used by the top management for decision making in order to determine the efficiency of the internal controls in place, or if none exists, to identify the best one to put up. In the case of my experience in tax audit, the reports made are used to determine the correct amount of tax to be collected. Either way, the reports I have made in the past and still doing up to now, are crucial in decision making.

Recently, the government agency from which I am currently connected with (my day job), recognized my efforts as Revenue Officer, for being the top performer of our group. This recognition is given to employees who exceeded the collection goals set for a certain period. This proves my dedication to my work and aspiration for excellence.

Yes, I have gained skills from all of my past work experiences but that should not stop me from learning more, outside of my comfort zone. I am currently training for other Virtual Assistant tasks such as, Social Media Management and Marketing, Content Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.

Going back to Robert Kiyosaki's words, I am taking a leap of faith on freelancing, trying to learn a little about a lot, by learning Virtual Assistant Tasks. My experience on data entry and organization in my previous and current works, although not virtually done, may give solutions to your company's issues. Furthermore, once I have gained the skills on SMM, CM and SEO, I have more to offer you.
