I'm a French engineer with a strong background in web development. I like to design innovative solutions to complex problems, but also to quickly prototype projects when I have an idea or want to try a new technology.
I’m currently in charge of a web-based Rails application that is spread across 30+ different locations on synchronized servers, in 2 countries. In 2016 solely, this application has been used to generate and print over 1M posters. It makes heavy use of complex database queries, and exposes its very own set of API endpoints, which we then query from our other projects.
I have a degree in sysadmin, so Unix environments are no problem for me.
My everyday stack is built on Rails/HAML/SASS/JS, but I experienced a bit with Elixir, Golang and Sails to name a few.
Most of my applications are hosted via Heroku, so I'm familiar with cloud-based hosting solutions.
