The result of the process is a so-called Linked Learning Item which is a Linked Data-conform data package containting a semantic description as well as educational meta data about the Web resource. These Linked Learning Items can be seamlessly integrated into any HTTP-based learning environments. The project is a RESTful Web service implemented in Java. Side project (Ongoing): ’Plan My Dinner’ This project is a side project of my own which I work on in my free time. It was born out of necessity. Being the family manager every sunday I sit down and make a dinner plan for the week ahead. I own dozens of cookbooks, a recipe blog, and a huge recipe collection on Pinterest. However, every sunday I struggle to make this plan and don’t know what to cook. The idea for the Web app was born: Build a Web application that takes my recipe collection, some constraints such as the season, weather information and maybe offers from your local supermarkets, shuffle it around and generate a weekly dinner plan for me. The project is still ongoing as I only work on it when I have time.
