Being an ex ESL teacher in China for 7 years made me learn and improve most of my skills like, communication - I got more into communication not only to Chinese students, but also to some people from different parts of the world-through this, it opened my mind to acquiring plenty of knowledge about countries, cultures, music, etc. Team player-through this we learn to be open to criticism in order to improve different aspects of our job, a contributor of ideas and also a critic if and when needed. Another skill that I have improved is understanding of technology-through meeting new people, constant time on the internet and willingness to improve my teaching skills , I have learned to understand the ins and outs of technology, we are living in an era were every information is at the tip of our fingertips, kind of hard not to use it specially if it makes lessons easier & more fun.
