Latha Vasudevan

Hello, My name is Latha Vasudevan and I have keen interest in doing a meaningful work from home job and mostly I am interested in doing research. I am also open to learning new skills and adapting towards the work culture of any organization.

I finished my under graduation degree in Chemical engineering from National Institute of Technology, Trichy and post graduation degree in Management from the Singapore Management University .

Firstly, I worked in Michelin India Tyres Pvt. Ltd. as a Materials Engineer, which was only a technical job only on the surface and more of a communication role from various departments and different regions in the organization. I used to conduct project meetings with colleagues from Thailand, France, US and India and I also developed a material product portfolio (where I managed to complete 12 out of 15 projects) for the start up phase of the tyre facility in Chennai.

Secondly, I worked in Philip Morris Singapore for a year where I worked as a researcher for the Corporate Affairs team. I have researched in breadth and in depth about several industries relating to the tobacco industry and the Singapore Government and successfully and regularly briefed the team with my research. As a result, I was able to research well and compile that research in a way that would be easily understood by others.
