If Aristotle was right and we are what we repeatedly do, then I suppose I would be a learner, hard worker and someone who wants to make a difference in the work environment that I choose as a career path.
Through the process of working with a career coach and taking the Birkman Assessment, I have found that my strengths are in the area of activities that require thoroughness and attention to detail. I like to know the basis of the methods that have been tried and proven, logically emphasizing systems and controls.
I enjoy supporting the direction of someone who is considered to be strong and effective in their position. I prefer to guide my own activities and enjoy working independently. I have always been efficient and self -directive also.
I am basically concentrative, able to resist distractions and capable of focusing on the subject at hand with greater-than-average intensity. One of my strengths is that I am able to keep priorities in control. Furthermore, I have an innate respect for the value of cooperative effort, and get a real sense of satisfaction out of making an individual contribution to group projects.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
