Marian Sacop

I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas here in the Philippines. Straight out of college, I flew abroad to teach English in a public school in Southern Spain for two years, thus I speak and understand conversational Spanish.

In 2018, I joined an online education company based in the US and started as a Customer Success Champion, was promoted to HR and People Generalist and eventually pioneered the company's Recruiting Department as their Recruiting Operations Lead. I was in charge of making sure tracking everything and making sure that the recruiting department works well, and that every team member is taken care of -- that they are onboarded into the department with access to everything they might need to do their jobs.

Operations and admin work have always been my strengths. I'm a great planner, I'm very detail-oriented and I get things done -- on time. I take pride in my organization skills and I'm a fast learner and am very teachable. I'm always willing to try out something new, especially if it'll hone my skills. I take feedback very seriously and rest assured that I'll always persevere to be better at what I do every single day.
