Mark O'Neill

I have been writing since the age of 10 and getting published since the age of 14. I am now 41 years old and I have successfully made the transition from newspapers and radio to the Internet.

From 2007 to 2013, I was the managing and publishing editor of MakeUseOf.com, a technology blog with over 1 million subscribers, and a site described by PC Magazine as one of the top 100 sites on the Internet, 3 years running. During my time at the helm of MakeUseOf.com, I was in charge of a team of approximately 25, from all corners of the globe.

I have also run an eBay column for eCommerceBytes.com for 3 years, and I have also worked for a variety of other tech and social media sites, including PC World.

Currently, I am the Content Management Director for Quiet Light Brokerage, a Minneapolis-based company which specializes in acting as a broker for selling websites. I write content for the company about the various aspects of selling online businesses, as well as doing marketing and promotion (outreach).
