I am a young hard working person who has spent the last 4 years in a human resources capacity for a quick service restaurant company and part time as the business manager for an event management company.
In my HR role I wore many hats including training, staff management, payroll and budgeting, and health and safety protocols for the national brand. This was all in addition to ensuring my regional restaurants were profitable and met the high company standards set forward in the company handbook I wrote.
In my business management role I worked hand in hand with the owner to bring the company from a sole run small venture to a registered business with 8 regular employees and 100+ performers and contractors. Part of that process included creating training plans for all current and new employees, set a standard practice, liaising with financial institutions, and writing the budget for the financial year. In a daily admin capacity I was solely responsible for payroll, setting costs for individual shows, working in a producer and promoter for specific events, and managing the core staff and their concerns.
