As an agent my duty was to handle calls efficiently as they come in and with the utmost customer service in mind, assist guests with securing reservations for our hotels, handling rooms or billing queries and ensuring that all customer concerns are properly connected via warm or cold transfers to the relevant departments where necessary. As a supervisor, my main duties were handling and deescalating customer calls based on a case by case basis, coach and motivating a team of 15-20 agents to perform at their best.
