I'm an Accountancy graduate, with over 9 years of experience working in various companies, NGO, and accounting firm, I have worked in different aspects of accounting and office works specifically in bookkeeping.
Although segregation of duties as accounting standard is very significant for internal control but when I worked in NGO and small accounting firm I was assigned to handle finances and do multitasking because of the limited budget of Agency to hire other accounting staffs. I was assigned as Finance Officer and I was entrusted to do multitasking from simple bookkeeping, safekeeping of assets, bank transactions up to financial reporting, thus, it gave me a chance to apply in an actual system what I have learned conceptually from the past.
