Having experience on both backend and front end, I decided to work mostly with JavaScript and related tools. In the recent years I have worked with React on both small size or large size applications, as well as a react-native app. I like to continue with React, as it leverages most the power of the continuously evolving JavaScript while not being to obtrusive. It is also a very good investment as it can target so many platforms
