Pui Ni Wong

I am a graduated Master of Industrial Designer from University of South Australia. Software that I known how to used included Adobe suites, AutoCad, Rhinoceros, 3Ds Max, Sketchup, Solidworks, Keyshot, Wordpress, Elementor Pro and Wix.

With a two years of working experience in design industry, I have worked in different kind of design company. Firstly, I went through a three-month internship in a custom-made furniture company. My job scope included technical drawing, 3D visualization, client meeting and site visits. I've learnt how to read the demand of clients when communicating with them. Also, I've learnt the ergonomics of furniture design. Secondly, I am employed as a 3D visualisation designer in an event agency. My job scope included stage design, exhibition design and shooting booth design, client meeting, and site visits. I would have to involve in the very first meeting to discuss the theme and colour of the event, to draw the flow plan and technical drawing, and then visualised in 3D rendered pictures.

In addition, I received a commissioned project to design brand identity for an optical shop, Peace Eyewear. Peace Eyewear presents a modern yet harmony branding to the publics. This project is to design branding identity including main signboard, side signboard, paper bags, casings, and accessories. Leather glasses casings are used for more luxury products while cloth glasses casings are used for most of the products. Reclyed paper bags are chosen as its a more sustainable option.

Another commissioned project is to design a new website to The London Skin Clinic. I worked in a team of two, we designed a high-fidelity mockup and started to build in Wordpress after approved. I used Elementor-Pro for designing pages. The project also included products import-and-updates, SEO, google analytics and hosting migration which basically everything needed for an online shop. I also able to fix some problems through php Admins or by changing codes. The website project is still on-going, hence the visible website on Google is the old version website. In addition, I have my own website is built by Wordpress and Elementor Pro. I also used Wordpress to build my own blog for uni projects, also, I used Wix to build my old website.

Eventually, as a Malaysian, I am able to speak four languages, English, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese. This would make me stand out as compared to others. I could blend into a mix culture easily and communicate with international staffs or clients.
