In my role as a Software Developer at eJournalPress over the last six and a half years, I was involved in the full life-cycle development of a web platform which enabled users to track manuscripts through a workflow from submission to issue assignment. I took part in all steps from initial requirement gathering to design, quoting, coding, testing, documentation and implementation. My tasks have ranged from storing and manipulating large quantities of data to creating user friendly interfaces that were fully configurable on a per client basis.
I believe the experience I have in accurately quoting the time an enhancement will take, and then developing and delivering enhancements on time and within the quote will allow me to step into the Senior Software Developer role at Trilogy Education and get up to speed quickly. I am also an avid learner and love the puzzle solving feeling that I get while coding a complex problem!
