I started my own business in graphic design in 2016. I manage my on line shop where I sell art
prints that I designed. Managing my own business involves customer care - dealing quickly and
effectively with customers on a daily basis to answer their questions and address any issues. I
have built on my experience of using keywords and building a marketing strategy to promote my
shop and to achieve continuous growth.
January 2010 to Present. Freelance Illustrator and Digital Designer

Working through freelance websites on projects commissioned by private clients and businesses,
and participating regularly in design contests. Design projects include: Wall Art, Character and
Pattern design. In particular, I successfully led on a design project with Glace’ Frozen Artisanal;
from initial draft phase to final design. Using a practical approach based on the client needs and
employing my own creative flair. Working on these has grown my technical and creative skills.
Collaborated with Amnesty International Ireland on design for a Leaflet Campaign for Schools.
Delivered the design to deadline in professional and courteous manner.

• Worked as Transcriber. My tasks included transcribing audio files into written text.
I worked independently managing my own workload and meeting targets, following guidelines with
attention to detail. I worked remotely using a high speed broadband connection and a Remote
Desktop Application to access the files on the server, transcribe and send them back for the
manager review and approval.

Studio work included assisting with mocking-up of Greeting Cards, Point Of Sale and Banners.
Design of a Pocket Book for Sales Representatives, and a Gift Bag Catalogue using Graphic
Software’s Work focused on attention to detail and delivering work to tight deadlines.
Warehouse work included preparing stands and banners for shop’s, stock taking and preparing
card orders to deliver to the shops.

was responsible for preparing coffee’s and for stocking wine. I also served customers in the bar

I began working in DCU Canteen as a dishwasher. I was then moved to the counter where my
duties involved getting the counter ready and serving at the counter, carrying out a variety of tasks

particularly during the peak time to a number of thousands of students.

Working as Researcher carrying out interviews and questionnaires in Local Enterprises in relation
to the various aspects of the companies; from the structure, to the production and the service
delivered. The research focused on the size of the companies in number of employees, and
typology of contracts; the stock, export and import of goods, the investments in product and
prototypes research, the production and delivery of goods and services. Organising the workflow,
the appointments and communication with the enterprises and the University, writing and reporting
the research results to the Economy Department of the University I gained strong organisational,
communication, planning and time managing skills, to produce well written and detailed reports in
at professional level under the supervision of the Director of the department.
