About

I am the type who can build a bridge as I walk on it – so to speak – my professional work experience exemplifies this earned talent.

Currently I’m a Project Manager for Trefoil Group – an integrated marketing firm. In this role communication and organization are everything. As a liaison to the Digital and Client Service departments, I work as the interpreter of client needs as well as the final check for all project details. Marketing demands accuracy and this has pushed me to be, if I wasn’t already, really good at getting things done – on time, on budget and on point. There’s no choice but to be highly dependable and organized for both myself, colleagues and clients.

Prior to working at Trefoil Group, I worked for Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (formerly known as Reader's Digest Association) as their Editorial Business Associate/Rights and Permissions Associate/F.A.S.T. Team Lead. Here I also wore many hats and am no stranger to multi-tasking and/or acting as a support liaison to many people/divisions/office locations. Communication is the foundation of any strong relationship. My roles, coupled with my training as an English major and six years of publishing experience has afforded me solid communication skills and is one of my strongest assets as a liaison, Team Lead and friend. I pitched, launched and lead F.A.S.T. ("Fresh Audience Solutions Team") where I was jokingly known as having a positive and passion-driven "Kimmy Schmidt-like" spirit. Slight hyperbole, but makes me smile each time. I've written for Taste of Home, tracked budgets, managed all rights-related matters (print and digital), edited digital posts, contracted and coordinated freelance materials for the photo studio and editorial departments, and oversaw multiple email inboxes (corporate and individual). Basically, I was responsible for anything and everything needed in coordination of project goals for 9 magazine titles, the book division, internal/external stake holders, F.A.S.T, and a freelancer database (150+ people). This encompassing set of responsibilities required me to balance my full-time position and a team of twelve (all working in different divisions of the company), as well as the above list of "clients" relying on me daily - there's no choice but to be highly dependable and organized for both myself, colleagues and clients.
