I am a Smart-working and innovative ISTQB certified Software Tester with almost 5.6 years of experience in a variety of testing types which includes Functional, Automation Database and ETL testing. Among my recent accomplishments, I was part of the testing team and my responsibilities included

•Single point of Contact for the client on the testing related activities
•Responsible and Accountable for the deliverables of the project from the testing front
•Gatekeeper for the QA environment and the Quality improvement processes
•Designing the high level and low level Testing scope for the integrations of the applications under test
•Reviewing the plan and scope of the project based on the priority of the requirements.
•Preparing the Ambiguity Document, Testing Scope, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Plan and the Test Cases documents for the scope identified
•Allocating and managing the resources till the completion of the project
•Preparing test cases and maintaining the Traceability Matrix of the requirements with the resources and the corresponding test cases along with the defects
•Reviewing the test cases of the team and finalizing the test cases.
•Identifying the possible test cases for the Automation, Database and ETL testing
•Performing Regression, Functional, Smoke, Sanity Testing of the deployed builds by executing the corresponding test cases
•Performing data validations by SQL on the databases for the corresponding test cases.
•Preparing and reporting the Test execution status to all the stakeholders on a daily basis and raising the red flags to see the project is delivered on time
•Preparing the defect reporting status and updating the same to all stakeholders
•Preparing and analysing the productivity metrics for QA team which includes Defect Acceptance ratio, Defect Rejection ratio, QA defects Vs UAT defects etc.. to improve the productivity of QA team.
•Responsible and Accountable for any production issues and providing the necessary RCA for the same
•Responsible for providing the QA Sign off for the modules which are ready for deployment into Production.
•Providing the conditional sign off for the modules which are supposed to have open defects by the time of production
•Providing the QA post mortem analysis for the release to identify the possible opportunities to make the process better to improve the productivity.

I have learnt all the required skills to be a good tester. In this course of time, I have also mastered the skills required for Test planning, Test Execution and Test Automation by mastering the programming and scripting languages of JAVA and Python, I also have been given the responsibility to lead the team for the delivering the deliverables without any hiccups, which I have achieved successfully.

Along with these I also have sound knowledge in using Selenium, HP QC and HP ALM, TFS, Sharepoint which are the key armoury for any tester. The tester job is not sufficient until he validates the data flowing from the upstream to downstream applications, hence I have also mastered the skill of data validations using SQL.

I have seen the courses of evolution in terms of teams and their approach toward testing, I always chose the challenging path to sharpen my skills to make myself industry ready for any situation. Thus, I feel now to explore new horizons in my life to understand the challenges and help myself develop the skills to overcome them thereby helping the organisation as well to foster.
