Ford Ranger XLS SE 2017 Review
We Aussies love our dual cabs – and we also love our Rangers. When it comes to efficiency
and value for money, we can clearly see why the Ford Ranger is such a favorite among car
buyers.
Safety
We're kicking off with arguably one of the most important aspects of modern vehicles – safety.
Let's cut to the chase now, shall we?
Without further ado, the Ford Ranger scores a whopping 5/5 starts according to ANCAP
Safety. Talk about a stronghold of a dual cab! You'll probably feel more secure inside the
Ranger than you will be in a tank.
Price
The good stuff are not over yet though, as this is a very affordable dual cab, no doubt about
that. The manual starts at just shy of $50.000, while you can get the auto for around $52.000.
That's less than most of the competition, namely the Toyota Hilux or the VW Amarok.
Features
This special edition of the Ranger comes with all the standard equipment, but there are some
extra goodies at your disposal. By going for the SE you'll also get a sports bar, tow bar, side
steps, tailgate liner, auto headlights and a reverse camera.
That's a lot of extras added to an already formidable list of features...
