Starting right from my Primary Education in an international environment of the St. Margaret's Church of England Primary School, Durham City, United Kingdom, I interacted with individuals of different countries, cultural backgrounds and beliefs. Hence, I have imbibed the willingness to understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views. I did reasonably well in my school, when I scored 9.8CGPA in Class-10 and 97.33% (average in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class-12 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Since my entire education has been in English medium, I am proficient in English language. I am keen to learn new languages and I am currently learning German language. After my High School, I decided to pursue Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering so that I can apply my knowledge to improve the quality of life,
especially in developing countries. I have good knowledge of various computer software/language which will enable me to perform my duties efficiently.
I possess the necessary communication skills, inter-personal skills and client oriented skills required. I have made various presentations (on Cyber Forensics, Self Discipline, Goal Setting, Self Appreciation and Emotional Intelligence, etc.) before large audiences in my University. Moreover, as an Anchor, I conducted various Inter-University Competitions (such as Quizzes) and Cultural Events. As the Joint Secretary of the ROTARACT Club (Youth Wing of Rotary Club), we have been organising various Inter-University Events as well as Inter-Departmental Events within the Nirma University.
I actively participated in sports, and other extra-curricular activities and received Special Merit Award, Silver Award and Bronze Award in the St. Margaret's Primary School, UK. I learned ballet in the Elvet Ballet School in Durham and was awarded Honours in Bronze Medal Category. I learned Karate, participated in science exhibitions, quizzes, debates, poem recitation competition, poster making competition, etc. in my High School. I was the Captain of my High School Girl's Football Team and School Sports Captain. I was Captain of the Gandhinagar District Senior Girl's Football Team from the year 2012 to 2014 which won two State Championships. In the year 2014, I was made the Captain of the Gujarat State Senior Girl's Football Team which participated in the National Inter-State Football Championship at Dibrugarh (Assam), India. Being the Captain of the Football Team is a huge responsibility, which requires leadership, teamwork, coordination, motivational and excellent inter-personal skills to encourage the entire team.
My hobbies include reading books, stamp collection, travelling, photography and watching travel related TV programmes such as “World from Above”, “BBC Great Continental Railway Journeys”, etc. I like reading books written by Charles Dickens, Jacqueline Wilson, J K Rowling, Meg Cabot, Nicholas Sparks, Clive Cussler and Sarah Dessen. I am also interested in reading books on Psychology and Ethics. I like watching the video lectures of
Professor Michael Sandel (Harvard University) on “Justice –What’s the Right Thing to do?”.
