Hey there! I'm Nwamaka, a passionate and results-driven product designer with expertise in crafting outstanding user experiences. I excel in product management and design systems, aiming to optimize workflows, foster collaboration, and create visually captivating interfaces.

Currently, I'm making waves as a Product Designer at Obiex Finance, leading the launch of an exciting new feature while managing the overall product. I've developed and managed a comprehensive design system of over 1000 components, streamlining our design processes and improving collaboration with the development team. Recently, I led a user research-driven redesign of our web application, enhancing user flows and elevating the overall aesthetic appeal.

Previously, as an Associate Visual Designer at Prunedge, I collaborated with a talented team to transform complex statistical data into engaging digital illustrations, effectively communicating key insights to diverse audiences.

During my time at Dillali Tech as a Product Designer, I utilized data-driven insights to enhance the user experience on the website. By introducing an open-source design system, I fostered seamless collaboration within the team and improved handoffs with the development team. I conducted design research, usability studies, and competitive audits to deliver exceptional designs. Working closely with designers, engineers, and product owners, we successfully resolved UX problems, leading to increased user satisfaction and engagement.

Recognitions for my work include the Best Merch Design award from Ingressive Capital and being voted Illustrator of the Year by the Design Hive community.

Outside of work, I'm passionate about giving back to the tech community. As the Community Manager for the Mobile Development track at Anambra Techies, I facilitated engagement, onboarded new members, and organized classes to boost attendance. I also played a key role in establishing the community's online presence.

With proficiency in tools like Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Webflow, along with programming skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Dart, and Flutter, I bring a versatile skill set to the table.
