Adam Murray

I'm currently the Marketing & Communications Officer for The United Way of Central New Brunswick. The United Way has one major objective - helping people. Along with the rest of my team, we're dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and our overall standing as a community.

Before United Way I was working for the province. I was selected by the province of New Brunswick to represent them as a loaned representative to the United Way - something that they do each year to give back to the community. It so happened that United Way really liked my drive and went on to ask if I would take on a position as the Marketing & Communications Officer.

Before working for the province, I was in Toronto working towards my Marketing degree. There, I held a 3.9/4.0 GPA and was selected by the school/faculty (18,000 students) to represent them in the Ontario Marketing Competition. I ended up placing 4th among 24 of the top students in Ontario. I later went on to win the Pearson Canada Marketing Management award for George Brown College.

As for leisure time, I love spend time with my fiancee traveling around the world, playing hockey and golf, and playing in a band as a guitarist and lead singer. I look forward to someday opening my own business and living in a tropical climate.
