I have been a product manager and entrepreneur for over 5 years. Now I am traveling full-time and rely on freelance gigs to finance my travel.
As a product manager with India's largest OTA (Makemytrip), my major milestones included:
1. Bumping the conversions and owning the entire sales funnel for $200 million holidays business
2. Launching 2 products from scratch and going through the iteration loops to bring them to steady-state
3. Creating and managing the entire B2B side tools for sellers, vendors and in-house category/marketing managers
I worked very closely with design, technology, marketing and category in various roles, and have a very good understanding of how each of these functions works and interacts with product development. I also have extensive experience in working with multiple teams owning different KRAs.
Prior to this, I had a start-up of my own and have worked very closely with a couple of other college dorm start-ups. Over here, the responsibilities included everything from company strategy and building investor decks to writing code, creating wireframes and hacking through all the roadblocks a start-up faces
In both these jobs, I got to create products, designs and of course, content! I have written blogs, content for the many websites we have launched, marketing material, investor pitches, and customer communications.
I am now traveling full-time and rely on freelance gigs to finance my travel. I also write frequently as a travel blogger for travel websites and content creation platforms. (GMAT 780, if that helps!). Plus I do really like debating, so objective content creation comes naturally
