Hello,

My name is Aldo. Figurative arts have always been my passion, one which I firstly developed and put to practice while I was still just a kid (designing my favourite characters) and later combining my studies with the field; following firstly the Artistic Lyceum of Tirana and later on graduating from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Tirana.

2008 would mark the beginning of my professional career and I have been working nonstop ever since. Crowdsourcing was in its early steps back in the day and for 3 years I worked on 80+ projects focused on branding and illustrations. While continuing as a freelance designer. In 2011, I joined a printing studio as a graphic designer to deepen my knowledge and understand how to match my designs with what was eventually immortalised on paper. It is a challenge to harmonise the digital with the printed.

Growing up video games were “the thing”, so during this time I joined PivGames and worked as a UI designer for them until 2013, when I was offered a position from Betadvisor.com to work primarily on their site and supply them with innovative, creative and fresh graphics and designs. In 2015 I was promoted as Art Director of the company, a position which I held for 1 year, before leaving to help some new comers in the game.

It is often challenging for startups to acquire talented designers on their early stages, yet the environment of such ventures and that raw untapped energy drew me to give my hand to build up some of them. I firstly landed my feet in this new adventure at Planet Multimedia, where I worked on the UI and as an illustrator. I moved to DoToday and worked on the UI & UX side. In 2017, Supercell, gave me the chance to come up with the branding for their esport league for Clash Royal League. One of the first ever mobile gaming competitions. I am really proud to have given my contribution to this project, knowing that my work was appreciate by millions of people, especially well received by the game’s fanbase.

Branding has always had a special place in my heart and it led me to the position of Head of Design at one the most exciting startups today in the world, Softmogul.com, which I joined in mid 2018. Me and my team began and finished the process to fully rebrand the company’s look and feel, to make it a worthy competitor in the global market. From its logo, to the full suite of products and how they function, not a rock was left unturned to make the final product second to none. While working for Softmogul during 2019, I once again partnered with Supercell for their esports project, “Brawl Stars Championship”. It was an absolute privilege to have had my work chosen. I continue working with SuperCell remotely, on their game, HayDayPoP.

As in the beginning of my career, I still get excited to work on new programs and more importantly excit- ing and visionary ones. To challenge myself in different working environments and always above all to produce quality designs. Digital art is the medium of this century and I am ready to leave my mark.
