Alexis Colson

I am a recent honors graduate from California State University Northridge (CSUN) with a B.A. in Music Business and a minor in Popular Culture. 

Throughout my time at CSUN I was very involved in music engagement and worked as the Communications Director for the Music Entertainment Student Association. I planned campus mixers and panels, maintained all social media platforms and tracked student and alumni relations. I was also the publicity manager for our on-campus collegiate a cappella group, helping create and maintain all social media platforms as well as Los Angeles outreach.

Most recently I was the Co-Executive Producer of our on campus record label. I managed a team of 30 people and oversaw all fields including events, marketing, A&R, business affairs and production. This instituted great leadership, communication and management skills. 

I have completed an internship at Anderson Group PR, an entertainment PR firm in Los Angeles, where I learned many valuable outreach, press and client contact skills.
