I am a graduate of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) here in the Philippines. My professional background ranges from being a writer/editor to being a paralegal.
My first job was being a writer for the Public Affairs Office of WMSU's Office of the President. That was when I was still on my second year in law school in 2010. I wrote news and feature articles for the office's publication.
When I was in my senior year in law school, I took the challenge of being an educator. I was a college instructor for two semesters at the Universidad de Zamboanga.
In 2014, I was employed by Thomson Reuters in their Philippine site as a Publishing Specialist. I was assigned in the Cases Receiving Team handling U.S. Federal and State cases for publication.
I was also exposed to the Marketing Department when I was with NetSuite, Inc. as a contractual Marketing Data Specialist for three months.
In the same year, 2016, I was also able to get a freelance job as an Editor with GnGn Eikawa Makati, Inc. The job lasted for two months until I was hired by Bernaldo Directo & Po Law Offices as a Paralegal.
I had to quit my job in Makati as we decided to move back here in Zamboanga City.
Right now, I am really looking at finding a stable, online, home-based job as we are preparing for the arrival of our first baby sometime in May.
