I believe my five plus years experience in graphic design and marketing industry has allowed me to gain skills necessary for this position. I have worked as a Graphic Designer for the past five years. I coordinate and design the company’s quarterly newsletter, create internal and external promotional materials, occasionally in multiple languages, and communicate with third party vendors. I use Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office daily. Throughout this position I have demonstrated adaptability, creative thinking, and ability to meet deadlines.
As well, I have previously worked as a photographer for a photography and videography business. I corresponded with clients before and after their session by email and/or phone. I edited my own photographs as well as other photographers’. This position gave me the chance to capture love stories, special moments, and create something extraordinary for each client. I was able to learn to be passionate and creative to give each client something unique that they will keep for the rest of their life.
Previously, I attended Conestoga College where I obtained an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design; as well as earning an Ontario College Certificate in Design Fundamentals. During my studies I learned to plan, design, develop and create a variety of media products, pay close attention to details, and time management.
On my third year, I had the opportunity to complete my internship at TheMuseum in downtown Kitchener. I worked closely with marketing department. I designed banners, flyers, logos and posters for the office and also photographed major events.
I believe my creative, passionate, and enthusiastic personality would be an asset to the team.
