Anastasiia Zubareva

I have graduated with a BA in Social Research and Public Policy and Art and Art History: Art Practice Track with a minor in Psychology as a University Honors Scholar (Founders Day award) from NYU Abu Dhabi class 2019. I am currently pursuing a European MS in Psychology of Global Mobility, Integration, and Diversity in Society with the help of Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Scholarship at ISCTE-IUL, Lisbon, Portugal, and the University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. I am passionate about justice, social and policy change, civic engagement, collective action, integroup prosociality, human rights, early childhood education, education in emergencies, and applied research, as well as about interdisciplinary and creative approaches to problem solving. My strong interpersonal skills combined with empathy and contextual, holistic and long-term thinking make me a good team-player who can also work independently. I have experience working on sociological and applied psychological research projects, as well as in the fields of design, installation, and illustration. I highly value volunteering and intern opportunities with NGOs and advocacy organizations. I am a fast learner and a dedicated worker.
