I'm passionate about programming and I find myself quite frequently practicing it in my free time. I have a lot of experience in writing both desktop-based (scraping/data mining app included) applications as well as web applications (Ruby on Rails, ExpressJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, Meteor, WordPress). Of course throughout my studies I had to learn plethora of programming languages and subjects including but not limited to: Languages: -C, C++, Python, Ruby, Java, Haskell, Prolog, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL (IBM DB2, MongoDB) Subjects/Topics: -Abstract Math, Linear Algebra, Geometry, Artificial Intelligence, Discrete Structures, Algorithms And Data Structures, Linux System Calls, Relational Databases Of course, I have passion for some and less of a passion for others, but I do believe in "using the right tool for the right job" and in that regards I find it not too difficult to jump in a project that requires a language that I didn't use in a long time, simply because it's a matter of syntax and that's the "easy" part of programming in my opinion (the harder/more valuable is the problem solving).
