Angela Cristancho

A journalist with experience in environmental and social areas.

 I am bilingual in Spanish and English. As a journalist, I have experience working on different platforms such as Tv, radio, newspapers, and digital channels.

My passion is using my communication skills to help connect communities with entities and resources that allow them to overcome difficulties.

Working also as a photojournalist is one of my favorite moments every time the impact of my pictures represents a benefit to our society. One of the successful moments in my career was when I worked on a climate change project back in Colombia that help isolated communities to get access to education programs about adaptation and resilience to this environmental event, thought that project this community was able to improve their quality of life.

As a bilingual journalist, I have applied my skills to helping the Spanish immigrant community in the area where I live to communicate their necessities, creating bridges that connect them with other communities. Right now I'm creating a social media channel to help Spanish speakers have access to some health resources in this area.

As you can see my passion is using my career to serve others.
