In addition to working at some of Toronto’s best advertising agencies, I have lived and worked abroad in Europe and Asia for over five years. I opened an office for the Bates network in Warsaw and traveled extensively across Asia in a regional capacity for Ogilvy. For the last nine years I have been a self-employed entrepreneur and have built a chain of raw food restaurants and established a franchise system called Rawlicious. My partner currently runs our operation day-to-day. Feb. 2006 – Oct. 2006 Toronto, Canada Group Account Director – MacLaren McCann Accounts Handled: Cadbury Adams, Coca Cola, J&J Notable Achievement: Managed twelve active brands across three key clients. Worked on brand strategic development, portfolio management and several original multi-media communications campaigns. Oct. 2004 – Jan. 2006 Toronto, Canada Group Account Director – DDB Canada Accounts Handled: Johnson & Johnson, Michelin Canada Notable Achievement: Turned around a very unhappy client and re-energized a discouraged account team. Had a significant positive impact on team morale. July 2002 – Aug. 2004 Toronto, Canada General Manager – Eurolite Inc. This company deals with designers, architects, engineers and the general public, designing and supplying high-end architectural lighting. The company has a staff of 24 and revenue of $8 million Cnd. Improving financial controls, customer service and restructuring staff deployments were the focus of my efforts. July 2001 – June 2002 Singapore Regional Business Director- Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific Accounts Handled: Unilever PLC. Notable Achievement: Handled responsibility for 30+ million-dollar business across 14 countries in Asia Pacific. Lead global initiatives on the rejuvenation of the Pond’s brand and helped successfully rollout the Dove shampoo franchise throughout the region. July 1998 – June 2001 Warsaw, Poland CEO, Managing Director – Bates Poland Accounts Handled: British American Tobacco, Cussons, Roche, SEAT, Ferrero, Pharmacia & Upjohn, Energizer, Pfizer, Gravity, Finlandia Ballantines Group and others Notable Achievement: Opened and established a new agency from scratch.
