About
  • Merchandise Sales, Strategic and Assortment Planning 
  • a. Maximizes Sales and profitability for the department/category.
  • b. Support in determining high-level financial goals including pre-season financial plans, in-season projections, open-to-buy management and new store budgets at dept. level. 
  • c. Prepare and maintain department/category merchandise MIS analytics based on actual sales, sales forecasts, forth coming events, replenishment needs etc.
  • d. Assist in the creation of merchandise/assortment plans for the category based on insights gained from merchandise analytics, customer preference, historical trends and future outlook projected by the buyer.
  • e. Ensure effective in season management across territories (stock balancing, markdown management, stock analysis, stock vs sales performance)
  • Inventory Stock Optimization 
  • a. Ensure optimum category inventory levels are maintained at Concept/Territory keeping in mind store requirements as well as working capital constraints.
  • b. Ensure excess category inventory is not maintained at the warehouses and there is proper adherence to the concept/territory ageing policy.
  • Category Promotions
  • a. Provide inputs on the expected margins, possible price points and other parameters for promotions within the product category.

b. Help analyze the effectiveness of the promotions in achieving the targeted levels of sales and margins.

c. Help analyze the existing stock levels and liaise with the Buying/VM/Marketing team for timely roll out of promotional campaigns to maintain the territory / warehouse inventory holding norms as well to achieve targeted sales.

  • Higher level of education in marketing, management, sales or related disciplines
  • Listings & Catalogue uploads for new products

  • Updating Discounts & Participating in events as per portals
  • Adding New Channels to business
  • Managing & Stock Planning for nearly 150 Black Bird Stores & 10+ In mark Stores.
  • Payment Follow-up up with offline & Online Business
  • Raising PO’s as per Production Requirement
  • Processing Market place orders & Raising PO’s for SOR Models
  • MIS Reports (Sales, Returns) for Offline &Online.
  • Production Follows from Style Number allocation to Inward to Warehouse
  • Model selecting for New Design’s Photo Shoot’s regularly.
  • Outstanding MS PowerPoint skills
  • Marketing and creative capability, while also maintaining a clear sense of business objectives
  • Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking, innovation and time dedication
  • Understanding of how analytical problem solving can help Clients and how this application of analysis can support strategy
  • Dealing with List brokers to purchase cold data would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in working within a Direct Marketing function either agency or client-side
  • Supporting the development of a data-driven strategy for clients, from the planning stage to evaluation, including developing targeting strategies
  • good hands in SAP,Unicommerce,Netsuite,Retail Pro and MS Ofiice
