The desire to create value for an organization while also living a life I find fulfilling lead me to find Hubstaff talent. I have completed over 450 hours of private one on one spanish lessons in spanish speaking countries including Nicaragua, Ecuador and Colombia while also living and volunteering in rural areas outside of those formal class settings. Moreover, I am currently located in Bogota, Colombia. Beyond spanish fluency, I also possess a background in sales, customer service and public speaking. 

My work at Defenders, an Indianapolis based company was very successful. Working on sales teams to sell home security systems, I was promoted to the number one sales team in the sales department of a few hundred agents within a few months of working with the company. I regularly met or exceeded company set sales metrics and goals and even on occasion when needed sold our products in spanish to customers. This job involved connecting with people from all over the country and sometimes world, building trust and more importantly handling sensitive information and situations in a professional and empathetic way.

Moreover I also have worked extensively in the lawn care industry. Beyond the general knowledge of how to do most everything related to landscaping from building retention walls to sodding yards, I also dealt with customers on a daily basis, ensuring customer satisfaction and building good business relationships. 

In a collegiate setting, I participated in national mock jury trials. I regularly, with a given set of circumstances or facts had to make inferences and draw conclusions quickly for a jury in a tactful and influential way while also following court room procedure. This experience I had for over a year gave me a good foundation for public

speaking and presentation.
