Carla Lopez Portillo

I am Chemical Engineer currently studying a Neuro Leadership Program as I am really interested to keep developing soft skills that help my professional and personal life. During the last 12 years, I have worked within regional and global teams supporting innovation projects from different standpoints: technical as part of Research & Development team, brand as Marketing, and as Project Manager. The first 9 years of experience were around research and development at Colgate-Palmolive. During this professional stage, I developed technical skills but also analytical thinking, communication, data analysis, detail oriented, fast track solutions, etc. But I was pursuing to build-up a 360° vision of business so during the last 3 years I have been focused on project management. Two years inmerse in Marketing and learning about the brands, consumer, product performace at market, strategies for launch implementations, innovations performance, among other topics.

The last year was fully focused on Project Management working with multiple areas, scheduling all team’s meetings, assuring key stakeholders availability, documenting and sharing meeting minutes, escalating risks, managing project timelines to assure development and deliveries on time.
