Functions:
- Supervise finance officers in National Headquarters
- Strictly planning all the details of expenditures that will be going to spend throughout the duration
of the project.
- Prepares funds request every quarter to be sent to the donor for the ongoing projects.
- Monitors the cash flow of bank transactions (both donor and implementing office’s bank) and cash
box transactions thru the company’s specialized accounting program.
- Prepares a detailed monthly, quarterly and annual financial report for donors’ evaluation and
monitoring.
- Process and monitors (for handled projects) reception of Revolving Funds requested by the
Philippine Red Cross Chapters (for other projects-monitoring only).
- Followed by organizing the process to transfer funds to the designated PRC Chapters’ bank
accounts.
- In terms of liquidation or reimbursements; verification, revision and checking of the justifications
is an important role of the TPA-Finance/Admin. Ensures the legibility of the documents and
completely justified expenditures for specific projects according to Donor’s and Partners
requirements.
- Monitors, plans, process payables for the utilities and rentals in PRC-GRC NHQ Level.
- Prepares Hand-over documents during transition period for upcoming Finance Delegate and or
new Head of Delegations or Officer-In-Charge.
- Direct communication with the GRC Manila Exclusive Bank for audit purposes, bank transactions,
new signatories and other bank concerns.
- Supports & Oversee the Finance Officers for queries and concerns.
- Provide orientation, training to new upcoming finance staff for field deployment.
- Provide updates of the new regulations from the PRC-NHQ Level to PRC-NHQ finance staff to
disseminate to field finance staff.
- Provide orientation to new delegates and staff (i.e. finance process flow, etc.)
o Also concerned in day-to-day duties as follows;
- Multi-tasking, assists in procurements of the company especially for project handled if needed.
(Request quotations, canvassing the good and qualified suppliers).
- Accommodating the visitors if there’s cross-visit between donors and the German Red Cross if
needed,
- Overseeing the processing photocopying, organization and delivery of financial documents going to
HQ Berlin with the Person-in-charge.
