After I earned my degree in Tourism from the top state university in my country, the University of the Philippines, I landed my first job with United Airlines as a reservations agent. I moved on to Outdoor Advertising with The Fourth Dimension, Inc. My last position was Supervisor of the graphics division.

I concentrated on my family for a few years but after an unfortunate dissolution of my marriage, I had to face to challenge of being a single parent. I ventured into the food and beverage business and established numerous espresso bars and two cafes. With Starbucks and other big coffee companies hitting the fairly new market in my country, I had to bow out and moved on to catering diet meals and have been successfully doing that for over 15 years. I was servicing over a hundred clients a day with a total client base of over 3500 before the pandemic hit . I had to close down operations for over two months and am constrained to running my business to a third of its capacity at the moment. The COVID situation is very far from over here as we are still in the first wave so I have to face the harsh reality that business will not be going back to how it was in the next 6 to 12 months.

As I run a single proprietorship entity, I have been multi-tasking from day one. I started the business as purchaser, cook, menu planner, delivery staff, customer service and what ever new function arose from my growing business. I am hoping to be hired by an employer who would maximise the use of my experience hopefully to generate greater success for their own company. I am an extremely hard worker and am very goal-oriented. As a business owner, I know that would be the expectation from my output as well.
