IT / Marketing Manager

· Worked with non-IT staff and vendors to Plan, and set-up of a windows 2003 server active directory network with access to the internet and firewall through network address translation (NAT) thereby establishing a secure means of communication and sharing of resources. This led to the reduction of more than 80% of the time wasted in transferring files and other computer resources from one computer to another,  and over 75% reduction of computer repairs charges. Hence increasing productivity by 40% and reducing the total cost by 10%.

· Planned and implemented a highly secured network with the use of windows 2003 Certification authority (CA), windows active directory group policy objects (GPO) and IP security (IPsec). 

· Worked with management to set up secure Remote access virtual private network (VPN) services to connect two branch offices to the head office in Douala thereby saving over 80% of monthly charges spent on transfer of reports and mission allowance to IT Staff to travel remote offices.

· Delivering highly complex technical information into terms and concepts that the end-users can readily grasp led to a 20% increase in the availability and performance of client computers.

· Trained and Worked with two (2) IT support staff to set up three (3) exchange servers 2003 organization for company-wide messaging which increases communication between staff, product distributors and the home office’s staff thereby leading to 10% increase in sales within 6 months after setup.

· Managing network security, network monitoring, backup/Restoration and troubleshooting increase the performance and availability of network servers which led to less than 7% downtime of servers, hence increasing productivity.

· Worked with management to design and setup Forever living products Gabon LAN and WAN network infrastructure. This freed the regional office from report latency, communication and management difficulty, and computer network instability. Hence the productivity of this office increased by 40% instantly.

· Designed and implemented an internal telephone network that facilitated communication within the head office, hence increasing productivity abundantly. 

· Designing Forever newsletters, Product catalogs, DVDs, VCDs, and other training materials led to the saving of over 30% of the production charges and time spent in producing each item.

· Developing Literature and product Sales management software led to the improvement of literature sales by 10% and reducing errors by 90%.  

· Providing customer support on technical issues to distributors in Cameroon, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea.

· Processing and managing sales orders within the company AS400 database system.

Accent Technologies Sarl Douala, Cameroon (November 2003 – February 2006)

Network/System Administrator

· Responsible for the strategic development and implementation of cost-effective network infrastructures for clients and the set-up of NEXT NET ODU/IDU antennas for internet connectivity. This increased the number of clients and satisfaction by 35% within two years.   

· Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing micro-computers, printers, scanners, webcams, USB flash drives, hard disk drives, modems, Add on cards, Diskette drives, CD/DVD ROM. Hence reducing shareware problems and maintenance charges by 40%.

· By monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network services such as local area networks (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Hubs/Switches, Routers, firewalls, and File/Print servers. I succeeded in achieving a 94% stable and reliable systems and network.  

· Provide comprehensive system support, configuration, maintenance, and training on computer systems, network, Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Access. This led to the number of students increased by 83% in less than one year.

· Worked with IT-staff to plan and set-up a VSAT appliance for internet connectivity at a client site in Edéa – Cameroon.

· Assembled and installed a wide array of computer systems, workstations, and peripheral hardware and provided high-level customer care, and technical support.

· Configuration and management of a series of CISCO routers and switches.

· By Monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining the network, Internet connectivity, Print and file servers, I succeeded in Implementing effective customer satisfaction strategies by identifying and eliminating the root causes of customer problems.
