Chinedu Akpa

I hold a degree in Pharmacy, having graduated in 2019, I can say that my knowledge of pharmacy and healthcare, in general, is quite lustrous. My passion for writing was inspired by the numerous experiences that I have gathered for more than four years in the community and hospital pharmacy practice. Some of these experiences include the myths about some health conditions that have now been held as true by the general populace, this puts both a moral and professional burden on me to enlighten the people about their health condition. I have been writing since 2019, I write a medical article every week which I publish on platforms like Medium to keep people abreast with happenings around them regarding their health. I have worked in several community Pharmacies and a hospital Pharmacy, and this has provided me with a firsthand opportunity to know how patients think and how to tailor my writing to suit their needs. I wrote a book called Smart Immunity in the wake of the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 which was widely read by people. I have a knack for paying attention to the smallest of details which is why I proofread my work by myself. I take my time to attend seminars, listen to podcasts to widen my scope and keep abreast with the latest trends in the healthcare system.
