I am am highly motivated self-starter based in the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia with a diverse professional and creative background. 

Over the past three and a half years, I have worked fully as a remote freelance contractor in social media management, operational management, business support and content writing. 

I am a dynamic communicator with an exceptional command of the English language and a genuine love and passion for writing, public speaking, presenting and facilitating.

I have served as a professional writer for close to 15 years; starting out as a journalist with one of Saint Lucia’s most prominent publishing houses, Star Publishing Co. 

Additionally I have a proven track record in customer/colleague care and business development as a result of my employment experience with RBC Royal Bank of Canada and First Citizens Investment Services (FCIS).

I particularly relished my stint as Business Development Officer with FCIS where I was was largely responsible for growing the company’s retail investment portfolio. This role served to strengthen and further hone my written, verbal and media communication skills as my day-to-day duties included client relationship building; one-on-one targeted sales meetings; drafting concise, appealing, easy to understand Presentations; and facilitating presentations at various businesses and public seminars around Saint Lucia.

Of added significance is the fact that I am also a creative arts practitioner—theatre and music.
